Designed for Life Outside
Outdoor TV installation begins with understanding where and how you want to watch, not simply choosing a television and mounting it outside. Sun exposure, glare, weather, viewing distance, WiFi, sound, and the architecture of the space all influence which display and installation approach will perform best.
Since 2017, Integrated ArchiTech has designed technology for outdoor living spaces throughout Cashiers, Highlands, Lake Toxaway, Sapphire, and surrounding Western North Carolina communities. We work with purpose-built displays from Samsung Terrace, SunBrite, and other leading manufacturers, selecting each solution around the conditions of the property rather than recommending the same television for every home.
From covered porches and outdoor kitchens to pool areas, pavilions, and expansive patios, every project is planned around how the space is actually enjoyed. The result is a clean, permanent installation with a picture you can see, sound you can hear, and technology that feels like it was always meant to be part of the home.

Why Bring the Screen Outside?
You didn't build a beautiful outdoor space just to leave it when the game starts. The right technology keeps the people, the view, the food, and the moment together.
Keep the Game With You
Saturday football shouldn't pull everyone back into the house. Keep the food, fire, mountain air, and people you came to enjoy together in one place.
The Best Seat Is Outside
The best seat in the house doesn't have to be in the house. Turn the porch, pavilion, or pool into the place where everyone normally wants to gather.
Never Trade the View
You built the porch for the view, not any reason to leave it. Catch the game or settle in for a movie while the mountains remain part of the evening.
Ready When You Are
No carrying screens, running cords, or setting things up when friends arrive. Press a button, pour a drink, and let your space be ready when you are.
Outdoor Viewing, Designed Around the Space
Where you watch matters as much as what you watch. Sun exposure, viewing distance, sound, connectivity, architecture, and how the space is used all influence the final design. We bring those pieces together so the technology feels considered rather than added afterward.

Full-Shade Spaces
Covered porches are common throughout the mountain homes we work in, but a roof doesn't make the environment the same as indoors. Humidity, temperature changes, reflected daylight, insects, and seasonal weather still matter. We evaluate the exposure, viewing distance, mounting surface, and surrounding architecture before selecting a display designed to live there permanently.
• Covered porches & screened patios
• Protected outdoor kitchens
• Comfortable daytime viewing
• SunBrite Veranda options
Partial-Sun Spaces
Partial shade is one of the easiest conditions to misunderstand because the light can change dramatically throughout the day. We've worked with patios and pavilions that appear protected in the morning but become considerably brighter as the sun moves across the property. We consider orientation, ambient light, reflections, and typical viewing times before recommending the appropriate display and placement.
• Changing daylight conditions
• Glare & reflection management
• Patio & pavilion applications
• Samsung Terrace options

Full-Sun Spaces
Pool decks and open patios create some of the most demanding viewing conditions we encounter. Brightness is only part of the equation. Direct exposure, heat, screen orientation, mounting location, and the surrounding hardscape all influence performance. For these spaces, we specify equipment engineered for high-light exterior environments rather than asking a conventional display to do a job it wasn't designed to do.
• Open patios & pool areas
• High-brightness viewing
• Heat & glare considerations
• SunBrite Solis & Pro options
Weatherproof Soundbars
We've seen impressive exterior displays paired with audio that disappears the moment people move away from the screen. Open air doesn't contain sound like a room does, so placement matters. Depending on the space, we may use a weather-rated soundbar for clear dialogue or integrate the television with speakers positioned throughout the patio, pool, or landscape for more even coverage without excessive volume.
• Clearer dialogue
• Weather-rated soundbars
• Distributed outdoor audio
• Balanced listening throughout the space

Streaming & Control
The technology outside should never be harder to use than the television in your living room. We design the network, streaming sources, control, and equipment locations together so homeowners aren't troubleshooting WiFi or juggling remotes when friends arrive. The goal is simple: sit down, choose what you want to watch, and enjoy the space.
• Streaming services & live television
• Reliable exterior WiFi coverage
• Simple remote or app control
• Whole-home system integration
Backyard Movie Nights
We've also worked with homeowners whose vision is bigger than a permanent television. Large-format projection can transform a patio, lawn, or gathering area for family movie nights, sporting events, and special occasions. Screen size, viewing distance, ambient light, projector placement, and audio all need to be considered together for the experience to feel intentional rather than temporary.
• Large-format viewing
• Movies under the stars
• Family gatherings & special events
• Integrated audio and control

Displays Built for Life Outside
A permanent exterior installation deserves equipment engineered for the environment. Integrated ArchiTech works with purpose-built solutions from Samsung and SunBrite, selecting the manufacturer and model only after we understand the sunlight, placement, architecture, and way the space will be used.
Samsung Terrace brings the familiar Samsung smart TV experience outdoors with bright, anti-reflective displays and weather-resistant construction. Different Terrace models are designed for specific placement conditions, which is why we evaluate the location before specifying the display.
Best suited for: Covered and partial-shade applications, depending on model and placement.
SunBrite specializes in televisions designed specifically for exterior environments, with product families engineered for everything from protected porches to highly exposed, full-sun locations. That range gives us more flexibility when a property presents challenging light or weather conditions.
Best suited for: Full-shade, partial-sun, and full-sun applications, depending on series.
The Brand Comes After the Space
We don't begin a project by deciding which television we want to sell. We begin with where you want to watch, when you typically use the space, and what the environment demands. Then we specify the technology that belongs there.
Why Homeowners Trust Integrated ArchiTech
Anyone can mount a screen, the difference is knowing what belongs in the space, installing it as though the home were your own, and still answering the phone years later.
9+ Years of Experience
Nine years designing tech for mountain homes has taught us what works outdoors, what doesn't, and which details determine whether a system lasts.
Architecture First
We design around the home, not around a room. Stone, timber, sightline, wiring, and mounting are considered so the finished installation belongs there.
Easy for Everyone
Your family shouldn't need instructions to enjoy the deck. We make watching, listening and controlling the space feel natural from the very first day.
Here After Installation
Our relationship doesn't end at installation. We remain available for service, seasonal preparation upgrades and the inevitable questions that follow.
From the First Conversation to the First Game
A great installation should feel considered long before the screen turns on. We handle the details from initial evaluation through final setup, coordinating the technology with your home so the experience is simple from the beginning.
1. Walk the Space
We start where you want to watch, evaluating sunlight, weather exposure, sightlines, architecture, power, WiFi and sound before recommending anything.
2. Design the Experience
We select the display, mounting, audio, control and connectivity around your property, how you entertain and the times of day you'll actually use the space.
3. Install It Right
Our team handles mounting, wiring, connections and system setup with careful attention to the architecture, leaving behind a clean and permanent installation.
4. Make It Yours
Before we leave, we test everything and show you how it works. Afterward, we're here for questions, seasonal service, upgrades and long-term support.
